Do you specialize in a specific destination?

We don’t as we don’t want to hinder our clients’ interest in exploring the world. While we’ll never pretend to know it all, we work with destination experts across all seven continents to ensure your trip is a smooth and memorable experience. At this time, we aren’t planning all-inclusives or cruises to allow us to focus on our full-service international trips.

Can you share more about your three packages?

Of course! We have three packages – Basic, Intermediate and Advanced – based on how much support you want in booking your travel.

Basic: The Traveling Bee will handle booking your accommodations, local transportation and basic tours, and offer support on your international flights. This package is complimentary as we receive commission from hotel properties and transportation/ tour companies.

Intermediate: The Traveling Bee will provide the basic package + a list of top recommendations, including sights and restaurants for each of your destinations. This package costs $400 per destination regardless of the number of travelers.

Advanced: The Traveling Bee will provide the basic package + a custom itinerary and secured reservations for each day of your trip. This package costs $600 per travel week regardless of the number of travelers.

How far in advance do I need to start my travel planning?

The sooner, the better! We recommend starting 3-6 months in advance based on destination. A good rule of thumb is the further the distance, the more time needed to plan.

Do you charge a planning fee?

The only time we charge a planning fee is if you start the planning process with us, receive a proposal and decide not to move forward. We then require a $150 planning fee for our time and research.

Do you offer travel insurance?

Definitely! We always recommend getting travel insurance. We work with a variety of travel insurance partners who provide a variety of coverage.
